  • "1989"
    by Birgitta

    US$3.56–US$95.00

This is exactly how it looked in 1989. The ivy stays here year round. It’s weird, because it’s barren outside; winter. But when you step inside (which isn’t hard..you simply step through the wall) it looks like a summer day. Very odd & surreal feeling. Taken last week, standing in the basement looking up at the back door. More from the abandoned farmhouse series soon. :) And Happy New Year everyone!! / It’s 8:37 p.m. here. I get the feeling I’m the last sober one around here.(not for long…ha.) / / >featured< / / More from this series: / / Welcome Home / Tattered And Torn / Wild Horses / Watch Your Step / I Remember You / / /

  • Gypsy
    by Karin Taylor

    US$4.70

‘Inspired Series’ card by Karin Taylor Gypsy is a mixed media painting on canvas textured paper. She has been hidden away in my studio for a while now, awaiting her final touches. It turned out, she was finished and didn’t need anymore work…I hope you like her. I created this painting after I’d read of the gypsy clans who settled here and still roam Australia, a little known fact. It is in fact interesting, how many Aussies came from a gypsy background.

  • Last Light..
    by Kate Towers IPA

    US$3.31–US$88.16

    Last Light..

  • My favorite pic of Miss Lola. I adopted her from the SPCA shelter when she was 11 years old! She’s almost 18 years old and still going strong. I absolutely love these trees in the winter.

  • The Horses
    by Steven Lippis

Visiting a cattle property out past Kilcoy, Andrew and I got up a little after 5am to be out photographing when the sun came up. / Climbing a hill, we saw a herd of horses grazing in the distance, then they all ran off. A few minutes later, we were greeted by this view coming over the hill accompanied by the thundering of hooves. They ran to us and we were surrounded by friendly, snuffling horses.

  • Cowboy and Palomino
    by amarica

    US$3.42–US$91.20

Cowboy and his horse, ranch background, black and white. This is a picture of my dad and his horse Lucky. He had her trained perfectly. She could count. He would ask her something like, “How much is one plus two?” and she would count to three with her hoof in the ground. They were very close. But then he was close to all his horses. They all had a special bond. This picture was taken on a ranch just outside Bakersfield, California They are both gone now, but not forgotten. I love this picture. If you saw it before, I have redone it using HDR to bring out the highlights and shadows and converted it to sepia. Images Do Not Belong To The Public Domain. • Deer One
    by amarica

    US$3.42–US$91.20

I grew up on a ranch in Southern California. When I was a little girl we found a baby deer beside the road. It had fallen off a cliff and its mother was no where to be found. We brought him home and nurtured him. We named him “Bucky” and he grew up to be a real beauty. This image is my little brother Richard feeding Bucky. My sister Carol is on the left and I am in the middle. When Bucky grew up, he dissapeared for a couple of days and we feared the worst. However, we cried so much and prayed…and God answered our prayers. Bucky was returned safely home to us. We never knew who took him or why, but we were glad to get him back. We hated to give him to the wild-life park at Hart Park outside Bakersfield, and I can still see him running back and forth inside the fence cying loudly for us to come back and get him. It broke our hearts, but he needed to be with his own…plus the law in California will not allow you to keep a wild deer (even though we had tamed him). I treated the original black & white image with hdr, PS Fractalius and Orton. I love the finished work. I hope you enjoy it. Images Do Not Belong To The Public Domain.
