Again this is in the grounds of The Hermitage in Perthshire. I sat at this spot for nearly an hour thinking about the wonderful gift that is nature. It may sounds weird but I was really humbled over my 4 days photographing the fantastic landscapes and water features that are basically on my doorstep. I hope you like them too.

When the end of summer nears and the rain stops falling consistently the rivers dry up a little. Here you can see that the water has moved into the deeper channels of the river and the flora has moved into the newly available territory. Honestly this is the only tree in the hole area and I thought it was in a neat position to shoot up stream. So I got fairly low with a portrait composition, tried to follow the rule of 3rds and this is what I came up with. / Post in CS4. / Canon XSi
