The purple version on one of my favorite images. This flame was captured at 1/8000th sec, utterly freezing the fluid movement of the licks and folds in this beautiful work of art.
Australian fire-performance champion Steve Kelly performs yet another breathtaking performance at the world famous Buddha Bar, Byron Bay. / Captured here on film at 1 sec exposure, the trail of flame creates a veritable vortex of energy around him as he conjures up maneuver after dangerous maneuver of flaming art.

For the home and hearth groups I belong to here at RB. I served these scrumptious broiled portabello mushrooms with thick broiled sirloin steaks, steamed fresh broccoli and crunchy hash browns cooked in an iron skillet for a wonderful Sunday dinner today. Broiled Portabello Mushrooms portabello mushrooms / olive oil / chopped fresh herbs of your choice / parmesan cheese / salt/pepper to taste if desired Place portabellos on a broiler pan bottom side UP. Pour about 1 tablespoon or so of olive oil evenly over each cap. Sprinkle chopped herbs over all. Broil about 6 or 7 inches from heat source, for 5 minutes or so. Sprinkle with parmesan cheese, salt and pepper and return to broiler until cheese is melted and bubbly. Serve immediately. NOTE: today I used chopped fresh cilantro and parsley. At other times I love using Italian herbs, depending on the meal I’m serving these with. Kodak Easyshare CD1013 camera.
