This photo was taken on the same beach that the “Shag Rock” photo was taken but obviously on different occasions since the weather does kind of differ. Some crazy crab attacked me whilst taking this shot but I guess it was worth it.

This picture was taken whilst stopped on the highway on the Nullabor Desert. I remember this photo well as I had a really sore stomach at the time. We had a massive bag of apples in the campervan and since you can’t take fruit accross the border into Wa my mate and I decided to eat the entire bag in little over an hour. Everybody who sees this photo is going to think that the colours have been altered and i am sure I would think the same but let me assure you that the image is as it was taken – completely unaltered

Beach

Walking along the beach at sunrise gives wonderful light and shadows. Not another sole in sight, a beautiful still peaceful morning and I was priviledged to witness the awakening of the sun and all that lives at the beach. Taken at a East Coast beach in Whananaki, Northland New Zealand.

The buttercups caught my attention first. Then I saw how beautifully they weaved through the wild grasses here. Everything was sunlit, free and so fresh-looking. The wind was blowing, so I had to wait for things to calm down a little before I could get a decent shot. My patience paid off.
