Sunshine / / / The world gives me reasons, / To shout, scream and cry, / But the Sunshine always, / Make my worries go by. The Sunshine is like an angel, / It touches me through me Soul, / It gives me reason to smile, / Makes me complete on the whole. The Sunshine is like a sound, / It synchronizes the music in me, / I get great cause to celebrate, as, / It lets my spirit free. No matter its day or night, / The Sunshine is always there, / Making the shrewd world around, / Look pretty and fair. My Sunshine is soft and gentle, / Its snug and soothing too, / It snips my sorrows off me, / My Sunshine, dear, its You! -Composed on 13/05/07……….. Acrylic On Canvas Phoebe is the baby of the trio. She’s a patchwork bunny doll with a thing for hats and caps, she is never seen without them. She wears an earring on her left ear and thinks she must be the funkiest patchwork bunny around. Her fashion theme for this summer is Watermelon :D / / You can view and buy my other “Phoebe’s Summer” creations at my Zazzle Gallery:

I went out to the desert yesterday with some friends… ...just trying something new. Red Sands, 45 minutes west of Riyadh, Saudi Arabia / December 10th, 2008
I’m going through a lot of old files these days and trying to organize everything… I’m not very good at organizing files, haha. Some wedding lace that grows in my backyard in the summer. Enjoy!
I took this sometime in the summer in my bathroom. There was a giant spiderweb on the window so I sprayed it with water… most of it ended up on the window which is the bokeh you seen in the background. Enjoy!
Sun and water
Something from the vault… another dandelion photo… I just keep discovering these, haha. There’s a gold mine of them on my hard drive. I don’t remember what I used as the background for this, but I edited the saturation to make the red really pop and it reminded me of star bursts. You know the candy, hehe… Enjoy!

Playing with colors again, not trying to do anything beyond enjoying them. This is how I imagine the world looks when the sun first peeks over the horizon at the top of the world, whenever and wherever that that may be…EVEN INSIDE YOUR HEART. Painted on a couple of layers in Photoshop Elements 3. / /
I sometimes wonder what it is about sunshine that pleases us, that prompts us to equate sunny days with love and hope and happiness. Sunshine isn’t all-benevolent…it has its downside. But there’s something about that twinkle of sunlight on dew, that glow of sunbeams on the horizon, and that hush of pastel dawn that brings joy. / Maybe it’s the renewal of light and the affirmation of life? I don’t know. But today’s cloudy so I worked on this image and finished it, and now I’m full of happiness. I hope you are, too. / / Three digital paintings and a photoimage (for texture), combined and edited in Corel Painter Essentials 2 and Photoshop Elements 3. /
It’s foggy, drizzly, dark, dreary, and suckingly absent of sunshine here…has been for what seems like decades, but it’s only a few days. So I played with colors and textures in Corel Painter Essentials 2. / [This will probably be my last upload of art for a few days, unless I give up on the NaNo thing right away.] /
