The bathing boxes at Brighton Beach. Each of these boxes is worth around the $100,000 plus mark!

The tide was out leaving the wonderful colourful boats in St. Ives Harbour. In my original shot on the site I cropped the buildings out as they distracted from the boats but I wanted to leave them in this time as I believe it has added something to the shot. Now I have turned it into a photograph painting, what are your thoughts and comments on it? Sales of this Design? – 1 sale so far :) / Beach Series’ card by Karin Taylor Hula Hips is a mixed media production on paper impressed with a canvas texture. I use a combination of ink, pastel, charcoal and acrylic paint. I like to use pastel over the top of acrylic, allowing the acrylic to show through a bit. Hula Hips is a really out there kinda girl, loves life and lives it to the full! A nice happy birthday card this would make :D
Unfortunately the skies here in the desert are mostly hazy and full of sand and dust! There are not too many days when there are clear horizons with clouds, and to be able to catch a sunrise like this was just excellent! Located in Libya towards the Algerian border. / /

Experimenting with Digital TTV ( – Not a Photoshop filter) – my first time! This is a very anonymous picture. Each of the three visible characters (dog included) are entirely personality-less, due to their backs being turned or heads obscured. And yet, the camera’s angle is facing up to the characters, from a very low angle. Draw conclusions to this as you wish.
This is a re-work and replacement of a shot with some stronger colours. Felt it needed a boost.

The Latin names of my plantscapes are all derived from the species living there. The green and yellow texture surfaces on this painting are inspired by a Lettuce Coral, Agaricia which is commonly found in the Caribbean. The bullio in the title is latin for ‘bubbling’. / I have also made a bronze & glass sculpture based on this painting. This image shows a detail. oil on canvas / 120×80 cm. / original sold
Stockton Bight, Port Staphens NSW, Australia / The biggest moving sand dunes in southern hemisphere. This dune looks so soft, so welcoming and at the same time it has strict form and direction. After long journey through heaps of sand, you suddenly see the water… Desert is sly, you never know if water is real… you may try to reach it for ages and it will slowly fade away…
Every journey starts from the first step. It might take long to reach the purpose and you may not even reach, but the way you go is always worth of going… Stockton Bight, Port Stephens, Australia Currently 189 views
