I also use acrylic and oil paints in it too… on canvas panel. This was a birthday present to my brother, Adam. It was painted on the 24th February 2006. • This sexy retro pin up (the one blocking the hot car) is another installment from the Helen & Jo Collaboration Duo but with a twist! I invited Jeff Burns, host of the Selective Coloring Group to work some of his magic to make this image pop. A true team effort Photographer: Jo O’Brien / Model: Helen McLean / Post Production: Jeff Burns / Car Thanks To: Paul Vanzella / Location: Williamstown, Victoria

  • People silhouettes in water expo pavilion and reflex on water surface

  • Experimenting with Digital TTV ( – Not a Photoshop filter) – my first time! This is a very anonymous picture. Each of the three visible characters (dog included) are entirely personality-less, due to their backs being turned or heads obscured. And yet, the camera’s angle is facing up to the characters, from a very low angle. Draw conclusions to this as you wish.

  • Model/Styling/MUA: Vesper White Taken for her new promo photos. We wanted a rock star look…guess we got it!

  • A close up look at a colorful still life composition of hand crafted vases, glasses and a perfume bottle reveals flowing shapes, color and light. This watercolor by Paul Jackson is one of a series by the artist featuring art glass.

  • Inspiration sometimes comes when you least expect it. Paul Jackson’s “Fascination” watercolor inspiration occurred when the artist was unpacking boxes of drinking glasses on his counter. The result; an intense rainbow of colored glass in a one-of-a-kind painting. “Fascination” was completed in 2007 and is a huge 60” X 40”.

  • If there was a choice between using a regular escalator or climbing ten flights of those stairs, I would choose the stairs without any hesitation! It has to be a happy climb! The Palais des Congrès in Montreal, Quebec, is a genuine feast for the eyes. It’s a convention center with a design relying mostly on its fabulous coloured windows. The effect is absolutely delightful, casting gorgeous colours both inside and outside the building, like a giant kaleidoscope. Focal length 55mm / ISO-200 / Aperture f/9 / Shutter 1/250 sec.
