The First in a quick series I just created showing nothing but the sky, sporting amazing sunsets shot in the last couple of days/week. I HDRd all these and added the moon. It’s a different type of HDR process, not the type I use for buildings. ;-) I have about three or four of these from the sunsets of the last few days, which were amazing and spectacular. No colour alteration has been made, very little saturation change as well, the HDR pretty much takes care of that..

Sutton Bank is a high vantage point at the very edge of the Hambleton Hills and the North York Moors with extensive views over the Vale of York and the Vale of Mowbray. Because of its location and high elevation, Sutton Bank is popular with gliding and flying enthusiasts. Predominant landmarks include Whitestone Cliff and Roulston Scar, the former overlooking the mysterious (and reputedly bottomless !) Lake Gormire. Close nearby are the villages of Sutton-under-Whitestonecliff, and Kilburn (famous for the White Horse of Kilburn, and Robert Thompson – the “Mouseman” of Kilburn). / Sutton Bank is one of the most spectacular inland cliffs anywhere in Britain, and carries one of the most hair-raising main roads in the country. The near vertical drop from top to bottom is around 140 metres, and crosses at least two major geological boundaries. / The Sutton Bank National Park Centre is on the western edge of the fabulous North York Moors National Park – home to the largest expanse of heather moorland in England. against the sky you do not see my pain / pricks of moments that everyone has agreed / should follow me to forever. / But I am looking to the sky now for answers / and I have been told by the cumulus clouds / I have more than my moments past to consider / I have this most powerful NOW I can choose to embrace / I feel my NOW as perfect cause I started to talk about the sky and it’s beauty / It feels like my past has became whole / My future looks bright / like the sky that I listen to.
