Sydney has many attractions but, I’m sure, the two most well known are the Opera House and the Harbour Bridge. Quite a few years back now, I got up very early one morning, braved the cold, setup the camera and took this image. I really like the glow from the light just before the sun came up. Scan from Fujichrome. Have sold as a laminated print to someone on RB. Thank you whoever purchased !

This is another magical area of North Wales ….. Coed y Brenin ….. I have used Painter X to render the image, it has the fullest range of ’ natural ’ brushes and if used with a graphics tablet the transition from orthodox to digital painting is painless, with the added bonus, you can ’ fiddle ’ with the end painting with the knowledge that if you go too far, you can remove it. / As a former traditional artist, I thoroughly recommend ’ Corel Painter ‘ / Final ’ tweaks ’ were made in Photoshop …... Patiently waiting on a letter from you …. One of those, “Oh, I’m gonna have to stop the car and take this shot” kind of moments. I love how the two left-most trees almost form an arch. Incidently this road is called Covered Bridge Road and leads to Pennsylvania’s Oldest Covered Bridge built in 1830 RIP John. My art with 1000+ views

This is a stretch of the Montgomery canal, it used to be part of the textile business, transporting goods to the major cities. Today it has fallen quiet, except for the abundant wildlife …... plans are afoot to reopen it, to boost tourism ....... its a fabulous place for walking, I did a 14 mile hike along it recently, from Welshpool to Newtown ….. This is the bridge over the lake at Alfred Nicholas Gardens, in portrait, and no hdr. These gardens are in the Dandenongs, Victoria, Australia. This work will be part of a redbubble exhibition at Elevation at Emerald, in the Dandenongs from 1-14 October, 2009. This work will be available to purchase at the exhibition and on redbubble, too. This was taken in autumn using a Canon DSLR EOS 350D camera, 18-55mm lens and tripod.
