Trying something a little different with this shot. Taken at night but modified by increasing the exposure values by a lot. Creates an interesting effect. I also took a Panoramic of the Millennium Bridge and the Quayside. See what you think. Birds Of Prey Christmas Cards Night Scenes Landscape / Scenic
I missed a fantastic sunset, and an incredibly intense lightning storm. By the time I got to my chosen vantage point, I was left with the remnants of both. © Sara Lamond 2007. Shot on the Cape Cod Canal in Massachusetts Every once in awhile I get really lucky around here. On this day, I was only trying to go for a naturally framed sunset photo, but with the passing of this ship, this photo became something more! I hope you enjoy! =============================================== / M/V Risanger passing through the canal on its way to Boston
Sydney has many attractions but, I’m sure, the two most well known are the Opera House and the Harbour Bridge. Quite a few years back now, I got up very early one morning, braved the cold, setup the camera and took this image. I really like the glow from the light just before the sun came up. Scan from Fujichrome. Have sold as a laminated print to someone on RB. Thank you whoever purchased !

Every afternoon on my way home from work I would see that lamp post coupled with the Harbour Bridge and I’d think to myself “That would make for a great shot”. After many months of telling myself that I have to take that shot I finally got off my behind and did just that. I am really happy with what I got. Here are a few categories to take a look at: /
Golden Gate Bridge acrylic on canvas by American Impressionist painter RD Riccoboni ™. Brilliant orange and bright blues in the sky and water compliment each other in this exciting painting of the famous bridge in The San Francisco Bay. When I think of the Golden Gate Bridge I am inspired by what can be achieved when we put our minds to somthing. The primary colors in my palette are derived from the colors in the original rainbow flag which represent sexuality, healing, sun, nature, art, harmony and spirit. As a painter I am a visual storyteller. A message comes with the art – perhaps it is playful, calming, erotic, disturbing, political, or even sacred. I like to flirt with the issues and experiences we face in everyday life, the things we do and the places we go that define our lives. Whether positive, humorous, or thought provoking, my work portrays events people relate to while creating a sense of place for the viewer. RD Riccoboni ™is an innovative American-born painter (California, 1960), influenced by his early years living in the suburbs of New York City. A self-taught artist, he credits encouragement by family and teachers for his drive and inspiration. RD Riccoboni ™ paintings on canvas and paper depict his travels and local interest. Subjects include California landscape, cityscape, portraiture, street-scenes, public events, and everyday happenings and friends. His palette is derived from the bold colors of the original rainbow flag. Colors that represent, sexuality, healing, sunshine, nature, art, harmony, and spirit. / RD Riccoboni ™ is internationally recognized work represents community, a sense of place in a positive and life affirming manner. Early one January morning, I got out of bed before dawn and headed in to London and the Thames. I knew where I wanted to get the shot from. I set up the tripod and camera and waited. I hoped the sun would be visible, but had nothing more to base the possibility on other than the sky had been red at sunset the night before. My luck was in!
