Sydney has many attractions but, I’m sure, the two most well known are the Opera House and the Harbour Bridge. Quite a few years back now, I got up very early one morning, braved the cold, setup the camera and took this image. I really like the glow from the light just before the sun came up. Every afternoon on my way home from work I would see that lamp post coupled with the Harbour Bridge and I’d think to myself “That would make for a great shot”. Early one January morning, I got out of bed before dawn and headed in to London and the Thames. I knew where I wanted to get the shot from. I set up the tripod and camera and waited. I hoped the sun would be visible, but had nothing more to base the possibility on other than the sky had been red at sunset the night before. My luck was in!

Ok, time to get serious now. This is a bridge across an estuary at South West Rocks, NSW….gorgeous place, lovely scene. We arrived here just on sunset, so had to very quickly find something to photograph…..as we do :) This was shot the next morning, on the way home….
