The park of the country-house Groeneveld near Baarn in the Netherlands is one of my favourite hunting grounds for morning shots. BEST VIEWED LARGER / This shot was taken at Dawn from the building I work in it shows in the North Sydney CBD. The Sydney Harbour Bridge links the North Sydney CBD with the Sydney CBD. The shot was taken using a Nikon D300, Nikon 18 – 200mm lens , for any Nikononians the 18-200mm lens is wonderful it comes in handy as a all purose lens. The shot was created from 3 exposures and processed with Photomatix HDR software. So continues my exploration of HDR.. its fun

This is a little bridge in my piece of the woods after the first snow. All is calm and quiet. Even the deer seemed to be walking gingerly – not wanting to disturbed the “peace”. Some may even say that the picture portrays a feeling of “eerie-ness” but for me, it’s just the quietness and serenity. This is why I’d like to do my part to keep nature this way! :) Donation to charity / 50% of the proceeds of the sale of this image will be donated to Nature Canada

You may wonder what I mean with this title, but it is easy enough once you realize that this is another shot taken on 23rd September 2007. Yes, on that day I crossed the bridge to 64. Not a bad start, I can say, looking back now to this lightful morning and the weeks and months after that. Again taken on the grounds of the country-house Groeneveld near Baarn in the Netherlands.
