As we drove back from Great Gable, we stopped off at this lovely old bridge… ok, I can’t remember it’s name :-) Thanks Rob, it’s Ashness Bridge. / The light wasn’t right, it would have been good to have the bridge in sunlight. As it is I’ve cropped some of the darker bottom part of the photo off, but the distant hills and sky have to be worthy of posting. / THE LAKE DISTRICT / National Park.

The lake of Bohinj again. Is for sure one of the most amazing natural places in my country and the one I personaly love most. The lake is typicaly glacial with a depth of 40m and the valey in the form of letter “U”. The church on the end of the lake where the river Sava bohinjka goes out from the lake is there from centuries and even before christians this was a spiritual place. There are many legends about this place, the goldenhorn mitological being who protect the nature here around is maybe the most remarkable simbol of this place. The valey is also dominated by the highest mountain in Slovenija Triglav which is also a national symbol. wikipedia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bohinj This are 3 HDR images from three exposures merged together © COPYRIGHT NOTICE / The work contained in my gallery is copyrighted ©2008 Robert Pavsic. The Dandenong Ranges (Victoria) are host to many of Melbourne’s most wonderful gardens, landscaped in ways you aren’t likely to find anywhere else in the region. During Autumn, some of these gardens really show themselves off and are a place perfect for quiet reflection and to take in all the beauty of nature.

Roosevelt Lake Bridge is the longest two-lane, single-span, steel-arch bridge in North America. The bridge, spanning 1,080 feet across Roosevelt Lake was painted blue to blend with the lake and sky, letting the form speak. I love how the bridge reflects in the water.
