This is the fourth in my ohh so creatively titled “Monster Series.” In this one, the monsters have chased the little blond haired kid onto a train. (These guys just won’t give up) I was hoping to get these done a little quicker but things have been busier than a Jackson Pollack painting lately and because of that I had to put the series on the back-burner for a bit.

In September 04, my beloved cat Sumsum died quite suddenly. I was MORE Then SHOCKED… It was as if my heart died with her . I had few terrible days & nights of SADNESS . She died 7 days before my first “Open studio exhibition ” . ( as if giving me 7 days to mourn ) . I had to explain my kids, to tell the BAD news, but I could not stop crying myself. I had to give them powers, when I myself had none… By chance, or actually for a reason, I found the story about ” THE RAINBOW BRIDGE ”, in the internet. And so I told my kids that story to help them with the news. Luckily I painted her in Oil, few months before she died. When I arrange that exhibition, while mourning her, looking at her painting, she was ALIVE, for me. Few month after, I started a small painting inspiring by the story ” The Rainbow Bridge ”... somehow, I didn’t completed it then.. Few days ago, I did.. and here it is today. Have a splendid loving day. Copyrights (c) Nira Dabush,

/ . / © Copyright 2007 David Iori Photography, All Rights Reserved. / . / Taken From Mrs Macquaries Point Mrs Macquaries Chair, otherwise known as Lady Macquarie’s Chair, provides one of the best vantage points in Sydney. The historic chair was carved out of a rock ledge for Governor Lachlan Macquarie’s wife, Elizabeth, as she was known to visit the area and sit enjoying the panoramic views of the harbour. The point offers a breathtaking view of the harbour with both the Opera House and the Sydney Harbour Bridge providing the perfect backdrop for picture taking.
