There is a reason why kids are used at weddings – they are very photogenic…(when they’re cute and not screaming up and down the isles) / Watch me / Send me a Bubblemail / Landscapes / Water & Seascapes / Black and White / People and Portraits / Architecture / Urban images / Europe
She may be as cute as a button, but this little angel would not smile for me no matter what I did. Thank goodness for the liquify filter in photoshop!
This dress hung in a Dellwood, Saint Louis, MO thrift store for two weeks, until I bought it for $5. I wore it out often with boots and a chain. Vibrant, albeit ugly, things like this deserve a life longer than one day, they are wonderful for 3 day chemically enhanced partys, grocery runs, and camping trips especially. it makes for fun pictures when you have stuff that that lying around.

If this was a beauty pageant we all would be going up to Flickr and giving it a big collective kiss for winning the Webby award. Yes we came in a commendable second to them in the Community category. I am not sure, however, that it feels much like a loss. It was a joy to read the lovely comments (314 of them) on the Webby site about RedBubble. This puts us in the top handful of most commented sites. RedBubble still may be small(ish) but at least we’re passionate. We captured just a few of the comments for posterity including: SHRyan: “Without doubt the best community site I have ever come across. So much talent and support for each other. Puts others in the shade.” Tim Chuma: “I have had my work on my own personal site for over five years and it hasn’t come to as much notice as having it up on RedBubble for less than a year. I have met a few people in real life due to it.” Monster your …: “RedBubble is awesome in it brings so many different cultures together with art, design , photography, friendship, guidance and much, much more! Deadsie: “RedBubble is by far the best website which supports the arts of creative people. Whether its writing, artwork, simple designs or just finding that certain group for you, there is something for everyone.” Northbeacher: “Some of the work there is absolutely stunning, really no exaggeration – there is some truly extraordinary never-seen-before art on the site, and the community is “top shelf”, great people, and you can harvest a multitude of ideas, resulting in “why didn’t I think of that”. OK, we admit it would have been nice to be the bride not the bridesmaid and we all were being very well behaved in public, but nevertheless it does leave a certain collective warmth.

Taken at BushKill Falls State Park, Bushkill, PA on 07/18/2009. The park is called the Niagara of Pennsylvania. It’s on the Bridal Veil Falls trail or red trail and it’s very beautiful. The red trail is 2.5 hours long and it’s steep and rocky on part of it. The trail has much lush green. The state has wooden steps, paths, and bridges in some of the places to walk. The park is close to the New Jersey border and it’s a busy visited place throughout the day. The falls are on Pond Run Creek. / / Maid of Honour is usually a close friend or relative of the bride, who becomes her confidante and right hand help during the months leading up the wedding day and on the big day itself. I hope you like her. When my husband saw this, he said / she took my breath away. reminds me of the first time I saw you .breath takingly beautiful / it just doesn’t get better than that :) xx This started off as a pencil drawing I did a couple of months ago, I’ve since coloured her in digitally. Makes a nice thank you card from the bride, or just a pretty gift card or print for a girlfriend or your sweetheart.
