A laneway in the backstreets of Valencia, Spain. This was taken in June on a warm summer’s night. Everything was perfectly still and quiet down the lane. Huge contrast to the day time when you could barely walk down it with the amount of people about! This is a friends loft I stay in sometimes when I visit St. Louis… I stay in the red side 2nd floor from the bottom.. .. The yellow one is the neighbors place… Each connected building stands 6 stories tall. Shot thru my window and some distorted broken bubble glass one day playing around with my close up lens.. I liked how each bubble gave a diff perspective of the buildings view. Uploaded for a Mood & Ambience group challenge Reflectiions in Metallic / / Nikon D60~ / Close up lens~ / St. Louis Mo. This is the first of several shots that I took while in Adelaide over the weekend. This is a laneway off a main street in Adelaide city centre. It grabbed my attention as I walked past, the dilapidated building, the door, the lone milk crate. It gave me a creepy feeling, even though it was mid afternoon. So I put the powers of post processing to work, blanched out colour, selective colour and contrast adjustment on door and a bit of lighting effect. The contrast of dark and light to aid the scary mood of this one. This gave me the feeling that someone was being held here, against their will. Within reach of the public, but so well hidden no one knows they are there. This moment is when the search party looking for them for days, maybe weeks, finally gets the clue that leads them here. Went for a drive around town today and found this, its amazing how you can take pictures at a certain spot, and go back there on another day and see something you didn’t see the first time..that’s what happened today. Just a wall on the back of a old business in town. Nikon D90 / 18-200 mm VR Lens /
