  • I MADE THIS IMAGE TO GO WITH….. / ONE OF MY FAVOURITE SONGS / HEAR THE SONG HERE Going Back to the corner where I first saw you / Gonna camp in my sleeping bag I’m not gonna move / Got some words on cardboard, got your picture in my hand / Saying, “If you see this girl can you tell her where I am?” Some try to hand me money, they don’t understand / I’m not broke I’m just a broken hearted man / I know it makes no sense but what else can I do / How can I move on when I’m still in love with you ‘cause if one day you wake up and find that you’re missing me / And your heart starts to wonder where on this earth I could be / Thinkin maybe you’ll come back here to the place that we’d meet / And you’ll see me waiting for you on our corner of the street / So I’m not moving, I’m not moving Policeman says, “Son you can’t stay here” / I said, “There’s someone I’m waiting for if it’s a day, a month, a year” / Gotta stand my ground even if it rains or snows / If she changes her mind this is the first place she will go ‘cause If one day you wake up and find that you’re missing me / And your heart starts to wonder where on this earth I could be / Thinking maybe you’ll come back here to the place that we’d meet / And you’ll see me waiting for you on our corner of the street / So I’m not moving, I’m not moving, / I’m not moving, I’m not moving People talk about the guy that’s waiting on a girl / There are no holes in his shoes but a big hole in his world / Maybe I’ll get famous as the man who can’t be moved / Maybe you wont mean to but you’ll see me on the news / And you’ll come running to the corner / ‘cause you’ll know it’s just for you / I’m the man who can’t be moved / [Chorus 2x] Going back to the corner where I first saw you / Gonna camp in my sleeping bag I’m not gonna move / Lyrics …The Script

  • Canon EOS 350D Canon Lens 55mm 1/100sec F/7,1 ISO-100 / The wall of castle Muiderslot reflected on the water. / The history of the Muiderslot (Castle Muiden, where muiden means rivermouth) begins with Count Floris V who built a stone castle at the mouth of the river back in 1280, when he gained command over an area that used to be part of the See of Utrecht. The River Vecht was the trade route to Utrecht, one of the most important tradetowns of that age. The castle was used to enforce a toll on the traders. It is a relatively small castle, measuring 32 by 35 metres with brick walls well over 1.5 metres thick. A large moat surrounded the castle. Muiden, The Netherlands, Europe / /

  • Brograve drainage mill is located on Brograve Levels, beside the New Waxham Cut. Constructed of red brick this tower mill was built in 1771 by Sir Berney Brograve, 1st Baronet (1726-1797) for the purpose of draining the Brograve Levels into the Waxham New Cut. The mill once had a boat-shaped cap with a petticoat and an 8-bladed fantail with a tailpole, and it carried two pairs of patent shuttered sails which powered an internal turbine pump. It is believed to have been disused since the 1930s. Today only two stocks and two stubs of the original sails remain and the derelict and unsafe structure is leaning westwards.

  • This week I’ve been light painting with a Maglite torch opposed to my usual trusty Dolphin Eveready. The amount of light this Maglite puts out is amazing though I feel I have more control with my trusty. Taken in total darkness (10pm at night) 10mm / f8.0 / ISO 100 / 223 Sec

  • I found this fire hydrant in the middle of an open field in Seabrook, Washington while on vacation with my family. I decided it would be too lonely to paint by itself so I added a brick wall. The painting is done with Rublev 18th century reproduction watercolor paint and Daniel Smith Primatek watercolor paint on Arches 140# cold-pressed paper. The combination of the heavy granulating characteristics of the paint along with the very textured surface of the Arches paper creates the illusion of textured details on everything in the piece. The original piece is 10.25”x14” in size. Featured in Realist Traditional Art group in August 2009. / Featured in Art Up Close group in October 2009. /

  • St. Jovan Kaneo church in morning light at Lake Ohrid, Macedonia. Featured in The Mysterious Balkans. Finished 2nd in the Fabulous Balkans Architecture challenge of The Mysterious Balkans group.
