Can’t read the instructions on the preview, so they are as follows: (above pics) Find some white gaiters and a fedora/trilby for extra effect Put on your favourite loafers Step onto a smooth floor (below pics) One foot in front of the other, knees relaxed. Keep the toes on the ground and lift the right heel. Really point that right foot, but keep it in place. Slide back the left with a straighter leg. Straighten the right leg and bend the left as the left foot comes back. Bring back the right foot with a straight leg, keeping the left foot in place. Really point that left foot. • I found this guy waiting for me on another train platform!- you may have guessed by now I’m a train driver! He really didn’t like being on his back- which is how I found him and did a really cool break-dance like routine as he struggled to get on his feet. i brought him home to repeat this act in front of my camera and here he is for the world to enjoy! Again I would like to say i take care of my models and he was released none the worse for wear after his photo shoot!

  • Kids don’t float my boat. In fact, if I had a boat, they wouldn’t be on it. I like cats but cats don’t like boats all that much. That’s OK tho since I don’t have a cat, boat, or kid. But kids have certain abilities to make even the most jaded of us look at them. Even blatantly showing off to grab attention from the band while we’re performing right in front of him, this kid forced me to not only look but to grab my ever-present Nikon from the top of my (recently stolen) equipment case and start shooting. Unfortunately, I either need to get a camera settings correct before I pick it up or put it on ‘full automatic’ because I can’t do much more than see what’s wrong with only one hand dedicated to photography while playing keyboards. In this case, full auto triggered the flash so I had to just live with it. This talented kid was ‘break dancing’ on a 6” thick cover of loose rock that couldn’t support my weight without shifting. How he kept from screwing himself into that rocky deck is beyond me but since people weren’t trying to dance on it either, he had the ‘floor’ all to himself and made the most of it. BTW, one very fortunate note: no kid-face. In my self-forced avoidance of shooting minors in an identifiable manner, the shot that worked the best just happened to have his back to the camera as he spun wildly in every which direction. And this was before I figured out the trick to making it work up-to-speed so capturing this shot wasn’t easy in the least!
