The perfect Sunset
-
Valle de Bravo, 4 hours West of Mexico City, is the destination for the millions of monarch butterflies and tourists. They come all the way from Canada to escape winter. To take these photos I climbed a very large hill and foolishly stayed until the end of sunset. On the return journey I got lost in the dark, was attacked by street dogs and eventually led back to town by a four year old child who lives in the national park. Quite an adventure.

Literally millions of these amazing butterflies migrate from Canada to Mexico every year. Every night, they hang in massive bunches for warmth and then when the sun hits them, spread out and go for water.

Decision at Bravo Hill
by Isaac Joseph“Raven to Wolf den. Pups are away, we’re heading home.” / Kelly stiffened, and all banter ended with an intake of breath.
This is a work in progress, and I’ll be adding chapters as they are finished. All chapters that I post will be in their rough draft forms, and I’m very much hoping to get comments and mainly crituqes on this novel. This is my first attempt at any sort of actual book form writing, and I’m an complete novice in every sense of the word. So please leave feedback on what should be changed

The Cessna Citation is a marketing name used by Cessna for its line of business jets. Rather than one particular model of aircraft, the name applies to several “families” of turbofan-powered aircraft which have been produced over the years. Within each of the six distinct families, aircraft design improvements, market pressures and re-branding efforts have resulted in a number of variants, so that the Citation lineage has become quite complex. Military variants include the T-47 and UC-35 series aircraft.

FLURISH : Field Legacy Urban Revival Is Sustenance for Humanity This is an alternate version of ‘Cing’ with less conservative boarders. Cing is a 4’’ x 6’’ collage constructed in 2002 by Montrae Steasal (Sane’s alter-ego), from an insert to the music magazine BLU (spring 2002). The text is meant to be intelligible, however not written in “standard” format (right to left). The words read Top line (In’s soul submission) to Bottom line (Outs distribution & Promotion); First column (music: hrs [ours] well written and graphic); Second and Third columns (text…) This work is a concert on paper: impression by future contemplation when mind at ease. Graphic layout, designed by Sane Artworks, provides context and visual appeal to the piece.

Sea Freight Containers stacked at a recycling plant in the Docklands. Cropped in just a little to simplify the composition. I didn’t notice till afterwards that exposing for the sunlit containers had rendered the shadowed rope coil blue.. just enough to offset the rusty yellows. Amen to ‘happy accidents’..
