Military dog tags on an American flag with a truthful slogan.
Only the brave enter here. The sea is such a lovely red , and there is so much to find. Tempting as it is I am not as brave as these lost souls.

Oil Pastel and Acrylic On Paper Concept: This is one of the many in Ophelia’s Love Encounters Series, it’s her experience of many facets of this wonderful thing called LOVE.. This is what she has to say about love today : ” Love makes you feel larger than life, gives you the courage to conquer all odds at hand.” This is a full size version with its night sky, I love the cropped one as well as it emphasises on the “large-ness”. Love in many of my quotes and paintings is open to personal interpretations, doesn’t necessarily mean love in the romantic sense. You can view and buy my other “Love Makes You Feel Larger Than Life” creations at my Zazzle Gallery:
Revolutionaries Series. Aldous was one of the most imaginative authors of the 20th century and his advances and documentation of alternative realities are the best out there. His novels Brave New World and Island are incredible contributions to literature with their themes of society and achieving enlightenment through chemistry and nature. Heaven and Hell and The Doors of Perception are incredible books as well. There are symbols in this painting that are very relevant to who Huxley was. If you look to the left, there is a vedanta (he was influenced by Hinduism) . His higher thinking is shown in his lapel flower- it’s a lotus. If you look very closely, you can see the chemical symbols for some of his inspirations. He is inspiring in his relentless search for truth in the human condition. 9×12” Arches 140 lb. cold pressed paper, watercolors, ink. “That we do not learn very much from the lessons of history is the most important of all the lessons of history.” – Aldous Huxley

When you think of all the obstacles a little bee has to go up against… hungry birds, pouring rain, having to fly miles to find that perfect flower, knowing that your only defense against those who would harm you is going to rip your guts out and leave you to die an agonising death (so what was the point FFS?)... They really are the adrenaline junkies of the insect world…. I am slowly conquering my fear of bees, and learning to appreciate them for the little miracles they are :)
A young warrior with a serious expression.

A wild, windy day drew me to the coast and I ended up at Bell’s Beach near Geelong, Australia. It was roaring! Bet they wish they’d had surf that huge at the recent Rip Curl Pro! / Nikon D300 with 18-200 mm lens

There is a flock of ring-necked Pheasants that not only seek the shelter of the farm to raise their young in the spring and summer but also seek shelter from the cold in the winter! They often can be seen perched on the branches of the evergreen trees, or dusting in the dirt below or feeding on the grain near the graineries Taken on the yard of the family farm, 40 kms southeast of Swift Current, Saskatchewan, Canada
