Red-Eyed Tree Frog, Agalychnis callidryas.
A baby Veiled chameleon using all five of her limbs. You may remember her form the May 2007 issue of National Geographic – the photo was a winner of the monthly “Your Shot” competition. The print size was that of a rather large post stamp – but NOW you can have it as a large laminated or mounted print! nudge nudge
A pencil drawing of a tree spirit on smooth cartridge paper
Took it today as a huge storm was rolling in. It’s still IR. / / / / / / /
She didn’t bend it of course, the twig was pre-bent from natural causes. My chameleon decided to be shy that day, she was playing hide-and-seek with me and this was the only photo I managed to take during our short session.
The dark colors in this shot kept reminding me of Gotham City and how it always seemed dark and colorless there. Taken in the exact same place as Hanging By a Moment, a bush right outside my front door.

Not just for Dingus Day, pussy willows are among the first welcoming signs of Spring!

Simmondsia vitra is closely related to the Jojoba shrub (Simmondsia chinensis), pronounced “ho-HO-bah”. Jojoba is native to the Sonoran and Mojave deserts of Arizona, California, and Mexico. Simmondsia vitra however is primarily found in arid urban environments and produces an extremely toxic, oily substance.
