This is mine and sutherland’s (my wonderful husband) baby boy, Takashi. He is the smartest yet dumbest cat alive. He is fully trained to stay, not to beg, to get out and to go to his bed but he also runs head first in to walls, chairs and anything else that gets in his way. We love him to bits!!!

This one started out as a photograph made by moving the camera during the shot. Photoshop gurus will recognize the polar coordinates filter applied. On top is a texture overlay (my own photo of a cement wall)

Government representatives want to close Newcastle Beach skate park on the pretext that its an eyesore. Coincidentally there are luxury apartments being built nearby that would overlook this public space. Will the youth lobby and community voice be heard over powerful private interests?

But I know why, it’s cuz you’re old. I bet your mum made you wait too. That’s why you’re so old….”
