My grandfather’s name was Leslie. He use to play the violin. He was wonderful. He passed away from lung cancer three years ago. This collage was inspired by him. Paper, Acrylic paint, vintage news print, vintage book paper, oil pastel, vintage illustrations, pen.

One of my first collages on canvas using photos and acrylic paint. I also incorporated a family photo that I printed on acetate. I credit a new collage teacher who pushed me further into using more and different mediums. I call it Lineage as a tribute to my uncle. I found this wonderful music also called Lineage. This design was inspired by seeing so many mushrooms growing on our property. It has rained for three weeks now, and yesterday I came across a mushroom the size of a large plate (or a sitting stool as our neighbour pointed out). This is my Laurel and Hardy of mushrooms.
