This is my second instalment in the “nostalgia” series, the one I’ve been withholding from you. Because of it’s very special mood I consider this to be my masterpiece in this series and in general. Although I must admit that with the creation of The stock market I’m starting to doubt between those two. I’m also under the impression that most people here seem to favore Sex, Drugs and Rock’n’roll Same general concept and techniques as in the other images from this series with the most important being the painted with light technique

So anyway, here’s the 1st piece i’d done for this year. / Felt restless all day, but figured i’d get sumfin done. / Should’ve prolly worked on some other things, but seeing as I wasn’t 100% in the art vibe i’d atleast do something in a small scale. So this is somewhat of a self-portrait. Slightly Tweaked proportions and what not. / That box-head is part of a costume I made for a costume party about a month back (an homage to Danbo from Yotsuba&!)

Taken at One of New York’s Photography Shootouts. This image is of Lauren after 3 hours of body painting. The wanted to build on the bodypainting to take it to an abstract level and so chose an old fridge to do the shoot. The heat was incredible. It was July in Brooklyn in an old factory. The image is just as hot. Model: Lauren WK Bodypainting by Aerick Sund

My first t-shirt design using one of my most popular photographs. This image of a classic London telephone box was taken near the Embankment tube stop. I removed all the color in the image and then by hand brushed the B&W layer away exposing just the vivid spot color of the red booth using photoshop. My best selling image now available as a t-shirt design! More photos from Britain
