BnW Version of Lt Bourke PL which was submitted previously (with 30D) Mamiya RB67 + 50mm + Fuji Provia 100 / Converted to BnW in CS. And try in a square format. Will upload the square format in color at later stage. All Rights Reserved. I just got the film developed last week … hmmm, I should be careful about that light rays from the right hand side of the lens. Easy to reshoot right away with digital, not so much with film … Regards, / Sidqie Djunaedi

A day or two before the first flow for several months arrived at Bourke, I took a pleasure drive up the river and obtained several nice shots.
These birds and some others spent the morning in a tree near my place, taking a break after feeding two younger ones.
This shot was taken just as the river started running again after one of the longest periods of no flow for many years.
UP_DATE, again…..it was never worked on again and has continued to be one of my paintings that people comment on. 742 views, at this stage. Based on a slide that I took, when I was teaching in Bourke, in the far north-west of New South Wales. These two boys were standing near the house where I was boarding (called: The Old Gaol), beside the Darling River. —-- Progress report, here! / ... / I shall start a new one for the last class for this term (?), at Hazelhurst and take this one with me for advice on the finishing touches. / .... / UP-DATE: Started a new painting, featuring the other boy, in my slide, taken in 1968. / FURTHER UPDATE: Was part of the About A Man, exhibition, curated by Steve McLaren. / Will feature in the Remembering – an antholy exhibition. Another shot of this young bird getting his belly filled. He would spend about half an hour crying out for food, and when his parent finally decided to give in, it was all over in about three seconds. I spent about two hours getting these and other shots of them.

On an evening cruise, we rounded a bend in the river and this beautiful purple sky appeared. The big flood lights on the boat, lit up the majestic old River Red Gum just perfectly.
