Here’s some dandelions growing in my front yard with the sky & clouds in the background. / Sold : 4 x cards / 1 x medium framed print.
This image is the 1st in a series of 3….. My inspiration behind this are all the lovely wedding images that I see; full of hope, happiness and love, but as we all know the divorce rate is very high and unfortunately many of the beautiful and happy couples divorce… It makes me wonder how would these couples feel if they knew that a few years down the road and a couple of children later, their union would end in divorce. These are the emotions I have tried to capture and portray in my series. And I would like to add a huge thank you to my model and best friend who was also my inspiration as she too recently divorced but was still brave enough to get back into her beautiful wedding dress for this shoot.
My apologies for having no originality in flower choice but as you can see, I love my plain old dandelions! Anyway, in this image there are 3 stages of flower from the same plant, the bud, the flower and the post-flower fairy which to me are like 3 generations. I chose the layers and treatment to reflect all 3 generations by being aged yet still bright and not faded. / Have sold 1 x laminated print.

This one is about the connection we have with our loved ones, roses always speak volumes about beauty, love, romance…......and wanting to connect…...what happens we we give and receive roses, why do we give and receive them…..it’s really sentimental stuff…..ahh where would we be without all that roses say for us, through us, about us, to others :) I hope you like my “Sweet Rosie”.....these roses are for you :)

This sweet flower girl portrait started with an image of my daughter and took several hours to complete. Several layers of florals and vines, in various transparencies, embossing effects and textures were added. I also did air brushing, oil brush work, and drew in all of the hair by hand. This work of art was completed using Corel Painter X and Photoshop. / Crop (right eye detail): / / Crop (left eye & floral detail): / / Fine Art Gallery / ADD RENEE TO YOUR WATCHLIST
I love the changing of colours during autumn. This Impressionist digital painting was inspired by the beautiful maple tree as it changed colours. Featured in Featured Art and Photography Redbubble homepage. © 2009 Anne Hale / /
