This image has been nominated for the Pay it Forward group by Tony WayoftheWarrior / Here is what he had to say: I have known Kellie for sometime now and I have marveled at all her work. She has a passion for art and a vision that as always drawn me into her work. This image speaks of that passion she has for art to me. It is done with love and care. I view art has an extension of the person who creates it. If not for this wonderful person I would not be on Redbubble and most likley would have not pushed my creative side as hard as I have. I have always admired her use of colors as it relates to emotion of the art she creates. Her combination of color, image, and the mood it creates combines to speak to the viewer and feel that passion as well. All her work speaks to me. This one speaks of that passion as an artist and a person. Thank you Tony, I am truly honored!*

the most mysterious and beautiful of landscapes…the human body. inspired by this passage from the novel, “The English Patient” by Michael Ondaatje: / “I’m afraid I waste the light on the paintings, not writing these words. We die. We die rich with lovers and tribes, tastes we have swallowed, bodies we’ve entered and swum up like rivers. Fears we’ve hidden in – like this wretched cave. I want all this marked on my body. Where the real countries are. Not boundaries drawn on maps with the names of powerful men. I know you’ll come carry me out to the Palace of Winds. That’s what I’ve wanted: to walk in such a place with you. With friends, on an earth without maps…”

I really hate to put so much work into something and then post it as “Untitled.” Sometimes I just can’t thing of anything to call it, but I will try my darndest to come up with a name. Contemplating this, I saw an aerial view of rooftops and city streets below. Made me think of the pains we go through to compartmentalize ourselves and to protect our personal space with concrete barriers. Don’t get me wrong: civilization is good … I like my creature comforts. But I have always been able to feel lonely in a crowd.

This is one of several shots from a photographic workshop in the Victorian high country with Richard White. / The fence surrounds what used to be Craig’s hut – an ‘authentic’ mountain cattle man’s hut built for the filming of “Man from Snowy River”, which burnt down in December 2006.

This is one of the designs from my coloring book, ‘Cosmic Animal Wisdom—A Coloring Experience For All Ages’, which is a collection of 50+ of my animal drawings, each with a simple statement of that animal’s wisdom. i drew all the designs with sharpies (permanent markers), scanned them in, and they were printed into a coloring book.
