I use it to do my stomach crunches and sit-ups. I remembered the movie, “The Professional” and decided to belt myself to the edge of my bed to do my sit-ups, the way Leon did in the movie, until my new stability ball arrived. I ended up hooking a bunch of belts together and thought to myself “Hey, that would make an awesome photo prop!” and the Belted series was conceived. / —-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—- / visit the rest of this series . . . / / —-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—- / View All Art » 1 2 3 4 5 6 browse Jaeda’s photographic art by category: / dreamscapes, artistic nudes, couples, glamour, erotica, conceptual, sensual, portrait, spiritual, survivor art / /

The irony is that after death he craves only the flesh of man…though his hygiene is pretty much the same as it always was. He’s the Hell bound Hippie and he’s coming to get you! (Very slowly of course…you know, because he’s high.)

  • “O my Father, thou that dwellest / In the high and glorious place, / When shall I regain thy presence / And again behold thy face? / In thy holy habitation, / Did my spirit once reside? / In my first primeval childhood / Was I nurtured near thy side?” / / “For a wise and glorious purpose / Thou hast placed me here on earth / And withheld the recollection / Of my former friends and birth; / Yet ofttimes a secret something / Whispered, “You’re a stranger here,” / And I felt that I had wandered / From a more exalted sphere.” / / “I had learned to call thee Father, / Thru thy Spirit from on high, / But, until the key of knowledge / Was restored, I knew not why. / In the heav’ns are parents single? / No, the thought makes reason stare! / Truth is reason; truth eternal / Tells me I’ve a mother there.” “When I leave this frail existence, / When I lay this mortal by, / Father, Mother, may I meet you / In your royal courts on high? / Then, at length, when I’ve completed / All you sent me forth to do, / With your mutual approbation / Let me come and dwell with you.” “O My Father” is a Latter-day Saint (LDS or Mormon) hymn written by Eliza R. Snow

  • Another self-portrait for my photography final, “Fragmented Self-Image”. I think the idea is pretty obvious…I used to have an eating disorder, I don’t any more, but the mentality that I need to stay thin and fit still remains and this is my interpretation of that. To post this alone takes me a lot of courage because I am still very, very uncomfortable with my body.

  • Another piece for my photography final, “Fragmented Self-Image” (yes you will be seeing more!). Perhaps this is self explanatory…perhaps not… / Ideally, there would be another image before this one leading to my control over my eating disorder, however I think the image works by itself as control over eating and food. This shot took way too long to do… / I don’t know how many times I dropped that cookie or my camera remote and had to unbind myself just so I could pick it up…

  • was going through some old photos and came across this one, feeling a little braver so figured i would post it, took this shot (by mistake) when I was doing this ‘self portrait’ for the Fred Hollows Foundation / A group of redbubblers have gotten behind this great cause and made a Calendar. /
