The chili pepper, chilli pepper, or more simply just chili, is the fruit of the plants from the genus Capsicum, which are members of the nightshade family, Solanaceae. Even though chilis may be thought of as a vegetable, their culinary usage is generally as a spice, the part of the plant that is usually harvested is the fruit, and botany considers the plant a berry shrub. The term chili in most of the world refers exclusively to the smaller, hot types of capsicum. The mild larger types are called bell pepper in the United States, simply pepper in Britain, Canada and Ireland, capsicum in India and Australasia, and paprika in many European countries.
This is a tee shirt of one of my popular prints. These are yellow orchids.
Dedicated to RB artist, and friend Racheli who inspired this work.
I enjoy painting flowers in watercolour as a meditation on the loveliness of the plant I’m observing and their wonderful Creator. Their beauty and incredible design, glorify His loving care and the delight He has in what He has made. In His love for us, He has given people hearts to enjoy being creative too, eyes and hearts to appreciate the beauty He has created around us, even little things, and hearts to love each other.
Guanacaste is a province in Costa Rica. There exists a tropical tree with the same name that grows in theses areas. It widely spreads the leafs and offers comfortable shade in the burning sun.

Birds in Flight is the latest creation in the Kaleidoscope Garden series. This flock began like all the others as a photograph. The original image was that of a hardy orchid that wanted to soar above the garden and explore the world. As with many young adventurers, one direction alone just wasn’t enough. This little adventurer was bursting with anticipation and desire and wanted to see everything at once so he divided his energy and took flight to explore all four points on the compass simultaneously. His journey is now just beginning. Why don’t you join him and help him find the wonders he so desperately seeks.
