I’d like to dedicate this image to my good friend Lora Mae who loves leaves. This leaf from a tropical plant is exceptionally lovely, and I think Lora Mae would like it.

On a visit to the Jardin Botanique in Montreal I was captivated by the Chinese Garden. Various ponds and streams had huge floating islands of lily pads. But it was not until I rested that I discovered these two lily pads and the reflections, just over the side of the bench I was sitting on. Taken in macro mode. My husband and I had a leisurely stroll in the weekend market yesterday. Most of these shops sell plants and flowers. It may sound unbelievable to some of you….this baby frangipani tree is about 1.5m all and it costs only about US$8! :D
