  • When I first heard about the idea of sending a ship to explore the cosmos beyond our Milky Way,I thought ‘Wow,what a great job that would be!. / And of course the space tech’s were lined up 10 deep. After about a year,an ad came out saying they were still looking for crew. I think my friends were getting pretty bored of me talking about how great it would be,how I wish I’d have got the education needed for such a trip.Well’ finally one of them said ’ why not apply, who knows,Ya,like I have a chance.Still I could always say I applied. So I got a ride out to the spaceport, and filled out an application, man’ there were some strange questions on that form. / I copied some down, (1) Do you believe in Aliens? (22) Are you a scifi fan? (31) Do you think UFO’s have visited our world? (84) Do you think our space program is antiquated? And the last one of 100…. Would you sign on for a one-way trip? I answered YES to all of them. / Hey’ I wasn’t going to get hired anyway, and those were about the only questions I could answer truthfully!. So here we are 5 years later, somewhere beyond the Milky Way. Ya, I got hired as photographer/historian, ‘blew me away’. So much to see and record, and with the advanced Cryogenics we have, lots of time.We just go where the solar winds take us. / You might ask ’ will we make it back’ hell no,at least I hope not.I’m living my dreams every single day I’m awake. We haven’t met the Borg yet,I was hoping for 7 of 9,but I’m sure we’ll meet up with the “Enterprise”.Maybe even “Voyager” in the Gamma Quadrant. And lastly, the really good thing about the crew…...we’re all scifi nuts, all 2500 of us.

  • He speaks in a language you don’t understand, he silently (and sometimes not so silently) mocks your mediocre knowledge of all things computer, and has acne in places where human beings shouldn’t get acne, he’s your companies IT guy, and now he’s dead. (Don’t cry too hard.) What’s that attached to his arm you ask? Well, it’s BORG technology silly. (Proving beyond a shadow of a doubt that those 9,000 hours of Star Trek viewing were anything but a complete waste of time).

  • A digital art creation with some Star Trek fun to it / /

  • Taken with a Canon 400D, Sigma 17-70 @ 17mm, F10, shutter speed 1/320 second ISO200, edited in Photoshop I went to Sheffield last year to visit a friend, whilst there we had a photography walk around the centre. It is a photographers dream location, lots of old architecture interspersed with modern art. This is a shot of the car park in Sheffield….I kid you not! Please view large

  • ...think I’m turning into a Borg lol! half machine half human where willl all this technology end??? ...The Borg manifest as cybernetically enhanced humanoid drones of multiple species, organized as an interconnected collective, the decisions of which are made by a hive mind, linked to subspace domain. The Borg inhabit a vast region of space in the Delta Quadrant of the galaxy, possessing millions of vessels and having conquered thousands of systems. They operate solely toward the fulfilling of one purpose: to “add the biological and technological distinctiveness of other species to their own” in pursuit of perfection. This is achieved through forced assimilation, a process which transforms individuals and technology into Borg, enhancing, and simultaneously controlling, individuals by implanting or appending synthetic components. ..finished after midnight layered the photo of water put it thru’ flexify – changed colours gradients on/ bezier pen tool /drew the skull and cloned painted enhanced ..then added lights textures opacity etc; .......
