I initially put this on my flickr gallery believing it wasn’t good enough for RB. But it received a lot of traffic and favorable responses, so I felt sure it would do well here also!I hope the crew of the recent trip see this as a great photographic souvenir of their time! I love summer for the fact that u get massive lightning storms. they are so facinating to watch. Everyone is different and it is better than watching tv. Don’t u just love mothernature.

A feeling of despair surrounds me as another storm is about to devestate our surroundings … darkness looms and calm resumes … just before the sky goes BOOM …. :-) Actually it was guite a good day when I took this photo of a rusty old gate into a nearby field close to my home. Great what feeling an altered pic and a few words can do to make the mind flip into mystery mode :-)
