This piece is relating to how I am a virtual architect. The lattice spheres represent the inner child trying to escape and the golden globes symbolize the delicate balance between light (Happiness) and heaviness (Burdens). Throughout life we are always challenged especially in the facets of emotions and we strive for some perfection in an area of our life. The sky is brooding, it abounds with beauty but easily could turn into a storm like our emotions. The ground is solid but with imperfections. The outer sphere coveting the lattice sphere is symbolic of protecting ones own heart. The absence of forms in the golden sphere represents loss as we all suffer loss in friends, family, pets, and even faith. The spheres blended into the ground bare the relationship to being grounded and not losing touch with reality, but as you can see sometimes if we do its only for a brief moment. The shadows, simple…sometimes we hide behind ourselves in fear of rejection or exceptance with others. We all have the right to be individuals, but we choose to live as we want, and we should love who we become in the end. My art is my escape, a way to handle emotions, loss, share happiness, vent anger, seek intimacy, etc. If you take the time to notice what I title my pieces by, you can see many aspects of me and who i am, whats going on in my life at the moment. Art is an expression of emotions and sometimes we have to be our own Virtual Architect in life.©2007 / . / . / .Lisa C. While creating a larger image, I couldn’t seem to get the lighting right and noticed the colors on this element of my construct. When I zoomed in, I found this image…Hidden in the Details.
Been having a little software/ computer trouble or else I’ve just been trying things that won’t compute. Here’s one that took a few tries. View large for details.
Nothing is immune to time’s passage. Mountains erode, people age and steel rusts.
These strange devices are scattered throughout the oceans. The majority of them are found in the infamous “Bermuda Triangle”. They do warn mariners of shallow waters, as they are usually built on a shoal, shelf or reef. No one has been able to discover who built them or how old they actually are. During the day they reflect the light of the sun and at other times give off a strange eerie glow of their own. /
I captured a “small sun” and placed it in this jar. Jar is a boolean creation in Vue6. /
Hope this is enjoyed as much as i enjoyed creating it!!
Another tribute of Thanks to where I get my talent from!! :) /
Caught him on Halloween Night and put him in my jar. He was still there the next morning. Do you have to feed ghosts?
Located at various spots along the canals, these Waystations are a welcome sight to travelers. The cisterns capture the rainwater, the only naturally drinkable liquid on the planet. Messages are often left for those following behind, folded up and stuffed in the cracks between the bricks.
It burned, glowed and twisted as it fell to earth. It came to rest in the ocean, far from land. It slowly cooled as the sun came up, floating gently along, but where did it come from? What was it part of? And why didn’t it sink?

A little Boolean creation I did in Vue. / Loosely based on the Metallica lyrics / King Nothing “Just want one thing / Just to play the king / But the castle’s crumbled / And you’re left with just a name Where’s your crown, King Nothing? / Where’s your crown?......” (Why it’s right here where you left it.) / /
