True, that I always loved to draw as a kid, and even one of my painting back then, was sent to Jerusalem for an exhibition – ” Children of the World paint Jerusalem ” ... Yet, the inner main decision of becoming an artist was taken later in my life , around the time I was 18-20 years old. / Around that time, I made probably my first peacockS painting, that is still with me somewhere, it signifies for me, the real beginning of my painting. / Each feather of Peacock might seem similar, yet it is different. For the change, that is occurring each day, every single moment,in life, even if sometimes, we fail to notice it… Because It was always there written on a piece of feather, sealed with love. / Thanks for being with me, as part of the story of my life… / May it be long lasting, healthy, fulfilling and full with energies of LOVE. / Love YOU !! This is my new favorite photo. / My son was in his room going though his things and brought out his (old) new testiment Bible. I noticed he had been folding some of the pages and thought that it would be need to see if I could make a heart with it. He then spoted the flowers I was photographing and started the “she loves me she loves me not” pedal pulling game and a few landed on the pages. I love the effect. Suddenly, nothing else matters. You are no longer scared of the dark. No more strange noises. The only sound you hear is the comforting voice of your Mother. Story time is a special time for children. To this day, some 30 years later (shhhh) I still remember having those late night books read to me while I was nestled in the covers. What is that makes bedtime stories so magical? Is it the bonding? Or is it the world of fiction that you get to drift off into for the night? I think it’s all of it. As a kid, books give us the means to experience things that we are not even capable of dreaming at such a young age. Don’t let yourself forget the great bedtime stories you were told as a kid. And never forget to share them with your children. Books build character and enable the imagination to grow.
