Jonas: ECKKKKKK! / Bong & Tong: Whats wrong Jonas? / Jonas: ECKKKKKK, It wont go away! Everywhere i go its there, I close my eyes, its there, I turn to the right its there, I turn to the left its there! / Bong & Tong: Whats there? / Jonas: ECKKKKKK, that! It dangles in front of me like bait, i try to catch it but cant, its smarter than me! / Bong: (Bong murmurs to Tong) Thats for sure! / Tong: Giggles inaccessively! / Jonas: ECKKKKKK, stop laughing at me, its driving me crazy, what do i do? / Bong: Jonas, maybe its a part of you? / Jonas: ECKKKKKK, No! it cant be, its got eyes and stares at me! / Bong: Maybe its your third eye? / Jonas: ECKKKKKK, Now why would i need a third eye? / Tong: (murmurs to Bong) Tell him its a underwater flashlight for night time! Tell him! Tell him! LOL / Jonas: ECKKKKKK, Very funny Tong maybe i should have it catch you! / Jonas chasing Tong around in a circle and suddenly GULP! / Bong: Alright you two, play nice! Jonas maybe Tong’s right, its a ultra light sensitive eye mechanisim for deep sea diving? / Jonas: ECKKKKKK, ya think? / Bong: Maybe dive down real quick and see what happens / Jonas: Dives down fast and swift and goes side to side and flips back around to Bong. / Jonas: YAHOO, Cool what ya know i seen stuff i never saw before down there, thanks Bong! / Bong: Your welcome Jonas, now can ya spit Tong out, I think he’s learned his lesson. / Jonas: Okay! / SPITOOY! / Tong: Great…... now I gots fish guts all over me! / Bong: When ya gonna learn Tong?! / . / Bong & Tong resumes there travels while Jonas swims off and finally stops screaming now that he has new depths to check out, and a whole new world to venture through. / . / the end…©2007 Lisa C. Mixed media. Originally, this began as a ball point pen sketch on piece of white sketch paper, but soon snowballed to include 3 colors of marker, 2 colors of charcoal pencil, and some judicious use of graphite. Essentially, I guess this is all about that ‘holy spirit’ ... whatever that means (to you). Dig? Original: SOLD

so i was hired to do a birthday party on the 24th of august this year, and the family is arabic. / i could not believe the food they had, and they were so incredibly nice!! / the birthday party was for 1 year old Ali. / when they were setting up this water bong, Linda, [ali’s mom] told me that they weren’t smoking pot, but flavoured tobacco. / it was pretty cool, and it smelt so delicious!! / and this guy cracked me up.. he put on Ali’s birthday boy hat and wore it for the rest of the night. Linda calls him her “vain uncle” lol. great night.

This is a first for me! Being off sick and being confined to mainly sitting down has given my creative juices an excuse to go into overdrive! I have never done a ‘toony’ sort if image before but I found Bong recently on Renderosity (vendor Nursada) and fell in love with him. Finally got him yesterday and have started work on a series of fun little toony sketches. I am now after getting some of his friends and family as they are super cute. I hope you enjoy this very simple first one – hope he makes you smile!:)
