A metaphorical representation of when one feels an attraction that they know is wrong, doomed, and futile, where the only certainty is that someone is going to get hurt, where the allure is so compelling that all sensible judgment is ignored… Pictured is a Naïve little bomb that has unexpectedly spotted a naked flame. It’s eyes are transfixed on the burning glow and the wick has begun to instinctively move towards it…....... What next??? Scotty (。◕‿‿◕。)
Took this shot of a balloon busting on my sons head.
Just one of my random thoughts… an orange spaceman holding a bomb
Ever wondered what gives lemonade its bubbles?
An exploration into human nature. Concept by Danny Nolan, Translated through my hands. / Always a pleasure working with you Danny. Hope you all enjoy.
The world is about to end because of global warming. Temperatures are soaring, ice is melting, glaciers are retreating, seas are rising, and we’re all going to fry. We’re all up to here with worry about it. The Royal Society says there’s no longer any room for scientific doubt about it. Britain’s Chief Scientist says it’s a bigger threat than global terrorism. / Every global warming sceptic is denounced as clinically insane. Every developed nation wags its finger at every other (well, ok then, at America) and tells it to Emit Less. Every politician and B-list celebrity now anxiously measures his or her carbon footprint. Every British schoolchild is now drilled to believe that man-made global warming is a Fact along with poverty and the existence of Belgium. It’s a wonder any of us has any incentive to get up in the morning. :) Online Galleries: / Surrealism art prints / 2d3d graphic design software / 3ds models max software
Bin The Cluster Bombs / More than 100 countries attending a conference in Dublin, Ireland formally adopted a treaty to ban cluster bombs – a large, unreliable and inaccurate weapon that often affects civilians long after the end of armed conflict. Some of the biggest makers and users of cluster bombs cited by human rights groups, such the United States, Russia, China and Israel, were not involved in the talks and did not sign the accord. Organizers expressed hope that those nations would nevertheless be pressured into compliance. / Source: CNN

Capt. John Davis and Bombardier Lt. Carl Thompson are walking passed their bird to meet the rest of the boys for a few beers. Both can faintly hear music and laughter of men spilling from a tent near the end of the runway. Davis looks back into the setting sun, listens to the big radial engines still ticking from an earlier test flight. The distinct smell of burnt oil still lingers in the air. / “God I love that smell” he thinks to himself. / He gazes down upon the puddles of oil underneath the port and starboard engines. / “Hey, does it look like engine one is leaking more than usual?” John asks, turning to Carl who had his half smoked cigarette in the corner of his mouth. / “It’s been leaking more since Frankfurt”, Carl replies. / “Frankfurt? Yeah, I think you’re right”. Davis can still hear the screams of the waistgunner, when the shrapnel tore through the entire port side. / “Poor Sammy, he never had a chance”, Davis says. / Carl didn’t reply, just walked quietly next to John, the setting sun throwing long shadows onto the tarmac, making them both look like giants. / Both men knew that tonight they indeed feel larger than life, because there is no mission tonight. Shimpū Tokkōtai (jap. 神風特攻隊) is the Japanese name for the Kamikaze special troops. Kamikaze (jap. 神風, literally: “God-wind”, “god speed”, “light wind”, “spirit-wind” or “divinity-wind”; common translation: “divine wind”) is a word of Japanese origin, which in English usually refers to the suicide attacks by military aviators from the Empire of Japan against Allied shipping, in the closing stages of the Pacific campaign of World War II, to destroy as many warships as possible.

Another beast from this series, though he’s a bit bigger: Watercolour, chalk pastel, ink & conte on canvas. / Looks cute doesn’t he? But you don’t want to pinch his cheek.
One of the first street shots I ever took back in 1964 in the East End of London. This was before Playstations, and probably the only ‘toy’ these kids shared between them was a skipping rope. Old bomb sites still held a fascination though as a form of amusement and exploration, as can be seen here. It was taken using a Yashica Mat 120 film twin lens reflex camera that took me six months to save up for. I used Tri-X B/W film and printed on a hard grade of paper to get the punchy contrast, a characteristic of all my early B/W work. This image was photographed digitally from the original print in my portfolio. © 1964 John Hooton Photography
Infinite future chaos – “whats that?” i here you say, / its the way we shape our future by how we live today, / the way we live our lives has a knock on effect, / we should give this world of ours some love and respect. Freak weather, wars, global warming, hurricanes and nature dying, / destruction, rainforests dissapearing, children starving, children crying, / riots, warfare, guns, chemical waste, nuclear bombs and anarchy, / extinction of animals, genetics, clones, who is it down to, powers that be?. Just think of our children, how will they survive, what will they see?, / lets all make changes so they can be happy and free, / who knows what the future holds but its down to me and you, / im just thankful i wont be around and bet that you are too.
