A sad boy masked as a cute dino.
This was taken while playing with lighting, remote flash and umbrella lights. I am doing a portrait shoot next week for a client and I was practicing on Ty. (Special thanks to Bill for lending me his equipment and the expert advice as usual) © Sarah Moore 2008

“star of the woods” / ... and it came to life / I like working with plants (& flowers) and find a way to see them as if it was the first time, again and again. Yet, getting a different vision and trying to illustrate it so others may see through my own eyes. Or at least, inspire them so they get their own vision of it. / this is the last of the serie (3 pictures) from this plant. the visual representation is about the cellular life and atoms… to the birth. / - / copyrighted> MCN:C49C5-80538-63A62 / - / /

well this is Danbo’s first action shot….and truthfully it was not as easy as i thought it would be….and it doesn’t look like how i would want it to look either….but i dont have much of a choice coz we didn’t get many blue skies lately… probably not one of my best shot of him but it will do for now :) edited with my Sweet Treat Lightroom Presets & Actions Only ‘light boost’ action was applied here :) Featured on LMAO ART group in July 2009 /

A beautiful forest called ” Bois Garnier ” in the Cians near Valberg.
This shot was taken this morning before work … I was up early and headed for the woods again, but seeing that I’ve finally figured out how to get to the Deer Sanctuary, I decided to go & have a look … ... and I was in luck!! / The light was golden, the air was hazy and dreamy from the night’s slumber … and the deer were visible from the fence !!! :)) What a delight! The sanctuary is not actually accessible, so I wandered along the fence, looking for good vantage points, trying hard to get clear shots through the tight mesh fence! Walk 4 tells you a bit more about the area ... and to think that an hour and a half after taking this shot I was sat at my desk in the square mile of London, processing applications for financial failure insurance … 29 September 2009 / EOS 450D, f/5.6 @ 135 mm, 1/30, ISO 100
I headed up to the deer sanctuary again yesterday … and I was in luck!! Big time, this time!!! As I approached along the path I could see a massive herd over in the distance, but they were on the move, yes, up towards the area from which you view the sanctuary! I was delighted! I figured if I headed up and gave them some time, I might get to see them a little closer than ever before. So I carried on up to the top … and oh my heavens! There was a bunch of them right up by the fence. I didn’t want to startle or disturb, but my approach did cause some of the more skittish to move off … / But still – I think I spent about an hour or more up there and I felt properly treated! Once I’d gotten settle they weren’t really bothered with me and moved about doing their thing :) I think I’ll upload one or two more shots of the day, but if you want to see the full series, you can pop on over to the deer sanctuary gallery on the main SeeOneSoul website For those who’d like a little bit more information about Epping Forest and the places of special interest in the area, I found the Easy Access Leaflet to be nice and descriptive :) Enjoy ~ Tina
