  • Lotus is a red-and-white van Japanese bobtail and an imperial princess. She was born on 6 October 2004 in New Norfolk, Tasmania, three weeks before her companion and niece Peony. Her registered name is Hajime Aka Hana (Japanese for ‘red flower’) and she is an ACT triple grand champion. At shows she hides her light under a bushel, though you wouldn’t guess it from this photo. A cartoon of Lotus is one of my t-shirt designs.
