Crete Elounda, Summer 2007 As the clouds covered the sun while fading behind the mountains the place turned into a magical scene. The canal of the picture is dated a few hundred year back, connecting the Elounda Bay with the rest of the Cretan sea.

This is my take on one of the most beautiful places on earth; Sausalito. Sitting just across the Golden Gate Bridge north of San Francisco, Sausalito is an amazing mix of restaurants, art galleries, yachts, sailboats, wine tasting, spas and most importantly – - people enjoying life. Sestri Levante is located between Genoa and La Spezia. The town has two bays: Baia delle Favole and Baia del Silenzio.The original part of Sestri Levante is actually on a peninsula, with the Baia del Silenzio on one side and Baia delle Favole on the other. Baia delle Favole or “Bay of Fairy Tales” was named in honor of Danish writer, Hans Christian Andersen, who lived in Sestri Levante for a short time in 1835.I love this place because of my daughter who is living in Milan and travelling a lot in this area. / I was there in June 2009.Wow, what a wonderful vacation I had.
