Taken on the Lake of Two Mountains, Quebec in the village of Oka on Monday June 9/08. This is just past the public docks and ferry system looking towards the west at the marina. The sun was starting to descend and cast a rosy glow on the water. Featured in the My Neighborhood group February 1st 2009 / Featured in Stillness Speaks group.

It’s a great place for taking pictures of quaint buildings and cruise ships docked for the day. Oils on canvas. A different view of Kilrush. This was probably one of the most difficult paintings to do. The lovely, town of Kilrush, County Clare (my Irish hometown) with little details that took many hours to paint with a two-hair brush and a magnifying glass! Best viewed large.
