We enjoyed the mellow dusk settle on this perfect anchorage with pints of beer in hand, outside the renowned Forge inn, (officially Britains remotest mainland pub). The tiny scottish hamlet of Inverie is inaccessible by road, only by sea or a demanding walk of many miles. We had crossed to the unspoilt area of the knoydart peninsula by ferry from Mallaig for some amazing walking (see the series of 3 pics on heartbeat ridge . The sights on arrival were just captivating with wildflowers galore, deer roaming gardens, peacocks roosting (see bird in a tree and I also got the precious shot of morning gems. Hopefully more pics to follow…

Colourful houses stacked onto the hillside around Brixham harbour in Torbay, South Devon, with the setting sun perfectly complimenting the illuminated shopfronts on the harbourside. This is my husband and his sister in the rowing boat. This is a rework of my shot ‘1, 2, 3’. I recently had some work constructively reviewed and it was suggested that I crop down the trees at the back and I only have 2 of the waterfowl in the front swimming past, instead of 3 of them. This was to give a sense of balance between one fowl and the boat. Anyway, I took the suggestions on board and altered the shot to produce this one. See what you think, and please let me know whether you prefer this one or the original. Many thanks for taking a peek. This was taken at Oakbank, Adelaide Hills, South Australia, Australia in the early morning.
