  • Jensen Beach fishing pier illuminated and silhouetted by island bridge in the background.

  • 16×20 acrylic

  • This is a photo of the sea barrier at the wharf in St. Phillips, Newfoundland. The salt water from the ocean has rusted the bolts and caused this array of rainbow colors to stain the wood. / / Visit my website On The Rock Photography /

  • Fishing trawlers tied to the wharf in the St. John’s harbour. / / Visit my website On The Rock Photography / /

  • This yellow dory was tied to the wharf for the winter. The boat launch had quite a steep angle to it… you can see the ocean far below, so the dory was secured with these blue ropes.I loved the contrast between the yellow boat and the blue ropes holding it securely. / / Visit my website On The Rock Photography / / laminated print / /

  • This image was created at the Apollo Bay Docks early in 2008, went here for a holiday just as I was getting into Photography. I went down to the docks just as a storm was rolling in and it made for some interesting weather conditions! This pic was created from one raw file. I changed the exposures in Lightroom and then merged 3 images using Photomatix, increased the blue and green saturation levels in Lightroom and added a bit of contrast. This is the result! This is my most viewed image on RedBubble Click here for my other images of Victoria

  • The Icelandic Harvester. / / When I came across this old vessel moored to the pier my imagination started running wild with scenarios of what life aboard this wooden vessel would have been like. I could almost feel the sineous texture of the ropes as they hung there coated in the ice cold saltwater of the frigid North Atlantic Ocean. I could nearly hear the calls of the sailors as they shouted commands back and forth across her weather beaten decks as the waves crashed down upon her on any one of her numerous voyages. What sights must have been seen as sailors of old lined the rails to peer down at the mysteries of the sea. How many men were lost at sea and how many made it home with wild stories of his adventure aboard the Icelandic Harvester. / / Shot with a Canon 400D and processed in Lightroom 2. / / NautilusBlue / / nominated this image to be showcased in the group Pay It Forward and this is what she had to say… / / Ice Breaker / by Kevin Kroeker / I think it is an outstanding image with great composition ( great leading lines) with lots of drama and the colours are amazing . It shows us the harshness of the climate. / / Visit my website On The Rock Photography /

  • I am a person who loves to travel – especially to France. I love water and I love the stillness at the end of the day. Honfleur is one of my favourite spots in France – this harbour is a photographer’s dream located on the northern coast in Normandy. My husband and I visit this beautiful town every time we travel to France and love to explore the fascinating streets filled with a variety of art galleries, jewellery stores, craft shops and boutiques. / I ordered a canvas print of this from RedBubble and it is my favourite piece of art on my walls!
