Sunrise on the Swan River Perth.
I passed this little yellow boathouse almost everyday when I lived on the west coast of Norway. The colors were always ever changing with the weather, so sometimes it was vivid yellow, and sometimes it was pale pastel yellow, but it was always intriguing to me and oh, so picturesque! Image is “As Is”.
This is a painting on canvas 107×84cm. i’ve painted it specifically for my 2008 calendar cover.

Home Sweet Home. The Blue Boathouse, Mounts Bay Road, Perth. Western Australia. I’ve finally dragged my lazy feet to the Blue Boathouse down at Mounts Bay Road, Perth. Despite being a 20 minute drive by the freeway, I never seem to allocate the right time to visit this magnificient icon. It’s possibly one of the most photographed building in Western Australia, and I cannot object it anyway if it was. edits: Realigned, adjusted contrast/brightness. All the colours of the rainbow are seen here at the boathouse, at Alfred Nicholas Gardens, the Dandenongs, Victoria, Australia. This was taken in autumn with a Canon DSLR EOS 350D camera and a tripod. This is an HDR image with 3 shots merged using Photomatix Pro, using tone mapping and tone compressor. This was featured in the Survivors and Friends Group. Rick kindly purchased a large framed print of this shot with a Mocha frame and off white matt. Many thanks indeed.

I found this drawing in amongst all my old artwork which I thought was worth showing everyone. 210×260 In Black Pen.
