  • There where not many tourists on Lake Nagin that time in Kashmir, so we peddled all day around and spotted many interesting things…

  • The fisherman appears to be standing on top of the lake but he is actually standing on a rock reef. Usually the reef can be easily seen but due to lots of rain and high lake levels this summer, most of the reef is submerged. Apparently he waded out to the reef and climbed on top of it. Photo was taken late one afternoon on Lake of the Woods, Ontario.

  • The Crawley Edge Boatshed on the Swan River, One of the most iconic landmarks in Perth. The Boatshed is believed to have been built in the 1930’s. I spent a nice warm summers night shooting at this location out with my new 5DMkII. Featured in: Insomniacs and Other Night Crawlers.

  • Sunrise at the Mosman Bay boatsheds. It was raining where I was standing during this shot, But the sun had broken through the clouds bathing the area in golden light. EOS 500D.

  • We had a very stormy morning the day I took this series of photos and it resulted in me getting soaked. LOL We had lots of heavy wind, Heavy rain, A few thunderstorms and a Storm surge along the coastline and the Swan river. The historical Crawley Edge boatshed was flooded right up to the pier and the boatshed itself seems to show some damage with a big gap running along the left hand side of the roof as well as the right hand wall. The boatshed was built in the 1930’s and was restored by it’s current owner in the early 2000’s after being in a dilapidated and run down state for many years. EOS 500D.

  • This visit to the Crawley Edge Boatshed was a total opposite to my last visit a few days earlier, When the waterline was above the jetty leading to the boatshed due to a storm surge which resulted in a unusually high tide, Which is the opposite to the unusually low tides we have had over the last few days. I decided to walk into the river to get a unusual perspective of the boatshed since I thought the water wasn’t to deep, But in the end, I found myself knee deep in the water shooting the boatshed, And once again, Going home soaking wet.
