  • The title pretty much says it all. The silhouette is a shot I took of Sydney while I was on a boat. I then comped it with a silhouette of a boat. Kinda simplistic. Any suggestions on how to make it better?

  • This panorama was take during one of the worst sea fog I have ever seen in Sydney. The Fog doesn’t dispersed until about 8:30am. It was so think that even from Mrs Macquarie’s Chair you can’t see Opera House.

A Brief History of the Royal National Park Sydney / The Royal National Park on the southern border of Sydney, New South Wales Australia, is Australia’s first National Park and after Yellowstone in the U.S.A. was the second National Park to be established in the world. The park was originally named The National Park but this was changed in 1955 after a quick visit by Queen Elizabeth II to the Royal National Park. It was created as a people’s park in 1879. Only 32km from the city centre of Sydney it is ideally located for Sydney locals and tourists alike to escape the pressures of the big city and relax in natural Australian bush, forest and coastal surroundings. The park covers an area of 132 sq km. / Royal National Park Sydney Map… National Park Bushwalking & Hiking / There are many walking tracks in the Sydney Royal National Park and ample access points to reach them. If you are visitig Sydney we have a wealth of pristine beaches within a short trip from the CBD , i recommend the Northern beaches there are many, it’s where i call home The Long Reef Aquatic Reserve was declared in May 1980 to protect inertial and sub tidal marine plants and animals Long Reef Headland is located approximately 10km north of the entrance to Sydney Harbour. It is a tied island joined by a sandy spit to the former coastline. The 60 ha Aquatic Reserve includes several areas of sandy beaches and rocky foreshores. The Reserve has been set aside for the protection of marine plants and invertebrates, therefore you can only observe. If you lift something to examine it, make sure that you put it back in the same place. With the exception of Fin-Fish, you cannot collect or destroy and marine plants or animals.
