If technology fails – and it often does – it’s comforting to know that you can still find your way back to safe harbor by following a lighthouse’s unfailing beacon.

The excitement of the Wednesday night races. Contestants sneak out of work early, speed to the bay, run down the docks, loose the lines and head for the start. And that’s when the race actually begins. heading for the finish line as the sun sets, spinnakers launched, jockeying for best position, stealing opponents’ wind, crossing the line and uncapping a cold one.
