Sailboat anchored on Lake Michigan in the evening haze. Calm waters allowed a perfect reflection.
One little boat and horizons and destinations unknown stretched out before you. This photo features a photograph taken at Celestun, a lonely but gorgeous little beach in the Yucatan state of Mexico. The white sand beach fades to clear gulf waters and beautiful blue sky touched with clouds.
This is an IR shot of Nobby’s Beach in Newcastle, Australia. / / I’m keen to see how many connotations you can all come up with. / / This is the beach where the Pasha Bulker came ashore in a huge storm we had earlier in the year. / / / / / / / / / /
This photo was taken about 5km’s around the lake from where I took The Sky Is Broken . These two shots were taken on different days in opposite weather conditions, yet, the sky still came out the same. If you are familiar with IR, you will know how rare it is for 2 pictures to turn out the same…even pictures taken a couple of minutes apart can be different so it is really quite strange that these are so simialr…Wonder what’s going on in the sky there??? / / / / / SOLD: 1 Large Framed Print (Jan 2008?) / / / / /
This was taken at Swansea, Newcastle NSW, Australia. The water around this place is absolutley amazing – the most beautiful blues I have ever seen…unfortunately not so good for capturing in IR…but I managed to get the sky to turn out like the colour of the water. Honestly, that’s the colour of the water. / / / / / / / / / / /

Just playing with Photoshop. From the original image Lady Washington. I selected the ship, deleted the inverse, filled the image with black, added two solid color layers with a gradient on one, and added a line for the horizon. Photomanipulation See it in full-size on my portfolio here This creation is in no way meant to offend anyone. I’m not religious at all, but I was toying with this idea in my head and this is the final outcome. This art consists of over ten different photos merged together. All photos, except for the old man, belongs to me and have been photographed with a Nikon D100. On top of that alot of editing has been made such as the rays, the sea, clouds, waves, the hand with the flower. With that said, the stock-image of the old man can be found here. All credit for that goes to “skydancer-stock” at deviantArt. It’s quite modified though. Comments or critics are appreciated!
