The main streets of Cairo become a hive of activity in anticipation for the celebrations at the end of Ramadan.
Double layers ,for me it looks like a beautiful shining pond.
Multiple exposures and camera movement up and down of a group of eucalyptus trees. Made at John Forrest National Park / I love going there as it is close to home and has flowing water and waterfalls in Winter and amazing wildflowers in Spring.
A summer afternoon downpour in the city. The streets washed clean, then it clears as soon as it came. More Sydney ...

The ring is on my hand, And the wreath is on my brow; / Satin and jewels grand Are all at my command, / And I am happy now. And my lord he loves me well; But, when first he breathed his vow, / I felt my bosom swell- For the words rang as a knell, / And the voice seemed his who fell In the battle down the dell, / And who is happy now. But he spoke to re-assure me, And he kissed my pallid brow, / While a reverie came o’er me, And to the church-yard bore me, / And I sighed to him before me, Thinking him dead D’Elormie, / “Oh, I am happy now!” And thus the words were spoken, And this the plighted vow, / And, though my faith be broken, And, though my heart be broken, / Here is a ring, as token / That I am happy now! Would God I could awaken! For I dream I know not how! / And my soul is sorely shaken Lest an evil step be taken,- / Lest the dead who is forsaken / May not be happy now. ... So I know there’s gotta be other people out there excited about the release of the new Batman Movie The Dark Knight, or is it just me? This is a tribute to possibly one of my favourite movies! This is also one of my first really serious attempts at creating some digital artwork in Photoshop. This is the result of me having a lot of time, sitting at home sick when I should be at work. The question is can you see Batman?? For this I started off with one of my pics of Melbourne, Australia from Southbank which was a HDR from 3 exposures. I then added in bats, flood lights, batman, the moon etc. and then once again a lot of tinkering in Lightroom to finetune :) This image has had over 5000 views Sales 1 Mounted Print 1 Poster Click here for my other images of Melbourne

Please see RoyAllenHunt’s written piece: Are You Ok With This. His incredible song is a compliment to this piece. See here for how I created this shot. I really thought I would wait at least two weeks before I tried this again, but then I went hunting in the pantry and found more dye and well, curiosity and motivation got the better of me tonight! Red and green dye this time around. Green was dropped in first, and allowed to swirl around a fair bit, then the red came in. It looked so much like blood coursing through someone, or something.. My entry for the Blur Lensbaby Challenge / When I shot these images, the focus failed on one and worked fine on the next…....so I blended both images, erasing most of the top layer….. / Wish I had a lensbaby, but this is as close as it gets!
