“I was born down south on a chicken farm near Mashville, Tennessee, / Werent nobody there but a sky full of air, / Seventeen billion chickens and me. / Then one day I said ‘hey, hey, hey – think I’ll drop a little LSD”. / There were chickens in the cauliflower, chickens in the corn, / Chickens driving cadillacs to Washington DC, / When I set my chickens FREE!! Played around with this all afternoon. Took the car shot today. The sky is from a picture I took a couple of months ago. Hope you like it. All comments welcome.

My red frangipani tree has flowered haphazardly for the first time this year through the constant rain this summer. With two weeks of glorious weather it bravely produced probably the last flower for this summer. So I picked it last night and took some photos, knowing it wouldn’t be there by the weekend. And then the wind came and it started to rain…..again!

My first attempt at editing photos in Photoshop and adding layers. I’m sure I’ll look back on this one day and see a whole lot of floors and room for improvement. I’m just happy to be getting in to it! PS – I love shoes! Shot with Canon 50D & 17-85mm lens
Like many people, woke early, sniffing the air, wondering what was that smell? Saw the red sky and wondered if we should escape a firestorm. Excited at the photographic possibilities, like many a morning (check out the last few uploads! ) the world looks different. check it out!
