My Backyard at night.
A selection of my most favorited work.
i love the colours, lines and movement in this picture.
Shot on a walkway over Las Vegas Blvd between Balleys and the Billagio. Did a few set up shots to get the right amount of light streaks for the traffic lights. I also didnt want the bright lights of the Paris ball to be blown out nor the Paris Tower. Once I had the settings I wanted I waited for the light to change and just went crazy! Shot with a Nikon D200 with a f/14 a shutter of 4.5 sec, the camera over exposing the image by 1, and an iso of 200!
Tokyo, Japan’s busy streets.
This is one of many images I took on a scenic river boat cruise down the river Thames in London. Steady movement provided a bit of a challenge but, overall, I was happy with the results.
This was taken at a local fairground which was held during a Brighton Festival. I wanted to capture the wheel in motion to show the intensity of the thrill ride which really is a test of nerves…but fun, nevertheless.
Night shot taken at a pub during a break in a performance by a local Jazz Band. The blurred image was intentional in order to / create atmosphere and to give the impression of sound vibrations.
Night shot at a funfair during a recent festival in Brighton, UK. The intentional blurred effect creates the sense of speed even though the cars move rather slowly.
Zoom blur image taken of the Popular Victorian Carousel on Brighton Beach, UK.
Parliament Square, London, Engalnd, This is a low light image of the Parliament buildings at Westminster Abbey from Parliament Square in London Engalnd. This photograph is slightly different from the normal images you get of house of commons, it is taken from Parliament Square and we have used a low shutter speed to get this amazing effect of blured lights rushing passed the image. This allows a glimps into the high speed and high stress of life in this area of the city but we are also reminded that urban life is about humans and we have a silhouette of a cyclist passing infront almost left behind by the traffic rushing passed him.
A taxi cab enters warp speed at night.. I love all of the motion and energy in this image. As with all of my photos, all proceeds from the sale of this photograph go to the Multiple Sclerosis Research Center of New York, which is conducting research into the causes and treatments of multiple sclerosis, and is getting closer every day to a cure! Wellington Harbour, 1am, freezing cold, hanging onto the tripod in an almost galeforce northerly… / Had to keep wiping the spray off the lens after every different exposure.
In camera – no edits. This is part of a larger series that explores kinetic photography using beijing’s architecture in the CBD district. The geeky stuff: / Canon EOS 5D MarkII / 24-105mm L zoom lens / 1 sec exposure / 4.5 app / 100 ISO

I wanted to try something different with my macro. I searched my house for reflective surfaces and instead of taking photos of objects alone I decided to take photos of the reflected light. All the blurring, spots, and noise is intentional. Very, very, very little tweaking was done on PS. I was mostly interested in finding images that looked like landscapes or paintings, or cosmic. In the process I realized that some of the light captured looked like brushstrokes. I had a lot of fun with this and would love to hear comments.
A beautiful red after glow of the sunset, over motorway cars on their way home – somewhere between Banbury and Avon Dassett!. / I have this picture on a canvass myself :o) Shutter speed-8 / Aperture-3.5 / Iso-400 / Sony A200 DSLR
