It was not long before dawn and there was an eerie silence around the lake. The lighting was changing by the minute and every photo had different qualities. I ended up choosing this one over the others to process because I really liked the reflection I got in it.

Beauty and calm in the simplest things.
This was taken moments before the sun cast its first warm rays against the mountains. Watching a sunrise in the Sierra Nevada mountains is hard to beat. It isn’t called the Range of Light for nothing. The quiet peacefulness before dawn slowly escalates as it gets lighter and the animals come alive. This is an HDR created using Photomatix Pro.

Taken during a Church service in Kallakurachi, India. Sunday 21st June 2009. I took this photograph just before I was called to preach to many Christians and Hindu people who had gathered in a small gods house. The temperature was 40c , and the Church building was made from wood, the walls and roof was made from galvanised tin sheeting. Despite the heat , the Fire of God was burning deep in the hearts of his people. It was in this service that God in his Love responded to the needs of the people. A young Hindu girl received her sight, others were healed from various diseases and many saved. Even those who could hear Gods word preached from outside the building via Speakers, came in and received Jesus Christ as Lord. I give God thanks and praise that he is so real and so loving. I thank God for those here on RB all around the world who pray for me, the Mission and have given money that made it possible to bless the poor and meet their needs. Without you This would not have been possible. You are all important and play a vital role. Gods Vineyard. Thank you. This is a subject – leaves – that is “intriguing me very much in the last time. It’s poetic, in the deepest meaing of the word – leaves tell about nature and discovering of the thousands small, even tiny details you can find inside them … lines, shadows, lights, folds, nerves, transparencies, traces of dance, life, colours, textures, sharpness and warmth … / I love the endless possibilities of looking at this subject with – I hope – a little bit “different” eyes …. / thank you very much for stopping by :-)

This bee is headed for this flower when I was able to capture him in the air before he landed…. his legs are just covered with pollen… he looks a bit bottom heavy.
